Extending over 4.6 million square meters, Dubai Marina lies at the heart of the area that has become known as ‘New Dubai’. The development incorporates luxury residential buildings, shops, restaurants, sports and leisure facilities, and myriad entertainment options.
Popular with singles and couples, the marina encompasses high-rise apartment living for most budgets, ranging from studio to four bed, duplex and villa apartments. Many buildings have direct marina views, whilst some have sea views or overlook Sheikh Zayed Road.

There also are a range of good supermarkets in the area including a Carrefour in the Mall of the Emirates and a Spinney’s branch on Marina Walk.
Sports and leisure facilities are extensive in Dubai Marina with most buildings offering pools, gyms and other facilities including saunas, squash courts, badminton courts, billiards rooms, bowling, barbecue area and children’s play areas.
Dubai Marina yacht club is available for social and corporate events. You can also find two restaurants looking out towards the bay.
Dubai Marina Walk’s 7km-long pedestrian walkway runs along the whole development with a string of café’s & restaurants along the waterfront and dozens of luxury yachts and sleek speedboats moored up alongside.
Transport links are excellent with two Metro stations serving the Marina accessible from a walkway leading across Sheikh Zayed Road.
Aside from walking, there are plenty of other ways to get around the marina. Hiring a bike from one of the stands located around the Promenade is a popular option, whilst there is also a regular schedule of water taxis. Those looking to explore at their leisure can take a boat trip around the Palm.
If you are looking to get to and from the Dubai Marina Mall, you can catch one of the two-seater or ten-seater buggy cars.
Getting out of Dubai Marina via public transport is simple with the two closest metro stations being Jumeirah Lake Towers and University Metro Stations. You can also catch the tram from Jumeirah Beach Residence Tram Stations 1 and 2, Dubai Marina Tram stations, Dubai Marina Mall Tram Stations and Jumeirah Lakes Towers Tram Station.
Dubai Marina is made up of a number of residential tower with each floor being home to different sized apartments. In some other towers, like Silverene Towers, apartments can come as duplexes and feature 2 floors. These duplexes can range from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom apartment.
